Disclaimer’s: please ignore my potato face and my awkwardness as this was my practise interview.

This is only a short video as we ran out of time.

- I really like the camera angle you used in this interview, it’s a nice background which isn’t dull nor too eye catching to the point where you see the background more than the interviewer. 

Also, the lighting is perfect in my opinion as it’s a good balance.

The questions asked were good questions, so they weren’t just yes and no. the only criticism I can give you is that there is a constant humming noise in the background, but this could be easily resolved and, I think that is the tripod bag in the background, but this is a good interview, well done.

Chad:

 - A nice background to support the whole computer graphics/digital drawing style of things, rule of thirds seems to be considered as it does seem like your looking in a negative space, 

BUT you are looking up at the interviewer rather than across the entire way where the negative space is.

The lighting is spot on, not too underexposed or overexposed in my opinion, sound is to a good level where you can clearly be heard at an average volume as well.

I’d say a very small thing next time is as hard as it may seem just to keep yourself composed and have some follow up questions just in case some do get messed up in the process.


More like Tom said there is a background humming noise and the tripod bag BUT other than that relevant info that gives me a good sense of your passion for digital drawing.


Something you could add is cutaways to show us what it is you love to do. 


as for the planning for the documentary


for the interview's i plan on asking my friends Milli and Jasmine since they have a moderate amount of knowledge on creepy-pasta's.

the questions i plan on asking is:


have you heard of a creepy-pasta?

do you know what a creepy-pasta is? and if so can you give your own definition of what one is?

can you give an example of a creepy-pasta?

for the interview i plan on having it be short and sweet as the main part of the documentary is about Ticci Toby and i plan on having speed-paints of that subject.

my opinion on his character


Ticci Toby a.k.a Tobias Erin Rogers is a creepy pasta that was created by kastoway,The story was passed around the internet and got popular which got a dedicated fan-base for all of the creepy pasta characters.


the story starts as follows:


Toby already had a few disorders before the main story of him starts before the main story of Ticci Toby he suffered from

 - C.I.P.A (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis):         which Causes him to be numb to pain.

 - Schizophrenia: which causes hit to have Delusions, bizarre           behaviour, and disorganised speech.

 - Tourette Syndrome: Tics result in cracking of neck and joints.

 - P.T.S.D (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder): After car accident. 

these disorders he was bullied at his school and the student's gave him the nickname Ticci Toby, due to the bullying Toby had to be home-schooled.

At the very beginning of the story of Ticci Toby, Toby and his older sister Lyra were in a car accident together, however his sister wasn't as lucky, as she didn't make it.

Immediately after the accident was known he and his sister was rushed to the hospital and the doctors did the best they could to help them both but Lyra (Toby's older sister) didn't make it.

Toby adored his older sister and what made it worse for him is that his father wasn't there to see Lyra at her last moments before she died.

When Toby got home after being discharged from the hospital, he and his mother saw Toby's father standing outside waiting for them.

He expected them to be happy to see them, but Toby wasn't he was angry that he wasn't there because he was Drunk, and he is always drunk, that was an excuse at this point to Toby.

Toby's father was abusive towards Toby, Lyra and their mother, due to Toby's disorder C.I.P.A (which makes him insensitive to pain) he didn't care that he was being abused, but what he did care about was the fact that Lyra and his mother were getting hurt and for that Toby couldn't forgive his father for doing that.

Due to his father abusing his family Toby had a burning hatred for his father which grew even more when his sister died in the accident.

Toby loved his sister as she always tried to protect him from their fathers abuse.

Toby's mother blames his father's behaviour on the alcohol but Toby doesn't care about that excuse.


when he got home he didn't eat anything the day had been too much at this point for him so he went straight to his room.

Later that night, Toby was trying to get to sleep but had a loud ringing in his ears so he got up and decided to go to his window, he saw a tall lanky figure standing by a street light.

It had no features at all, no eyes, mouth, or nose just nothing,the ringing got louder and he began to lose consciousness.

He began to isolate himself in his room, not eat he barely left his room, he saw the things around him but things just wouldn't register.

He began to tear the flesh around his fingers, his mother witnessed him doing so which made her heavily concerned about his mental health and sent him to a psychiatrist.

while with the consultant he heard the ringing again and he couldn't register anything at that point, but the ringing broke after the therapist yelled his name.

Day's went by and things seemed to be getting better, getting normal again, until one night he couldn't get to sleep, he began to hear children laughing and a voice croaking.

He didn't know what was going on and he got out of his bed to investigate the noises when he then saw his sister Lyra with her body all messed up.

He crawled back to the wall and closed his eyes in fear, the croaking stopped so he looked up again and saw the featureless figure surrounded by children standing over him.

His ears started ringing again getting louder which made him unconscious again.

he then woke up in his bed, it was only a dream he thought, he went downstairs and then saw his father, Toby became full of anger for his father.

Toby began to hear voices telling him to do it, to kill his father
he told himself that he didn't want to do it but the voices continued to chant.

he then saw a knife in the room the voices began to take control of him, he picked up the knife and headed towards his father.

Toby pinned his father to the ground and began to stab his father he started to laugh uncontrollably he continued to stab him until he stopped moving.

His mother walked in and screamed at Toby asking him why, Toby ran out of the house as he knew the police would be on their way soon, he found his fathers hatchets,some matches and gasoline in the garage.

He ran to the forest and poured gasoline on his way, he then lit a match to set the area around him on fire, however the fumes of the fire made him lose consciousness.

From then on he was presumed as dead, until a new murder came up matching Toby's method, it turned out that the figure from before saved Toby from the fire which made Toby become his proxy.

That's the original story of Ticci Toby, there are other additions to his story but this is the official story.

in my opinion i think he was taken advantage of so I don't believe he is an evil character per-se i just think he was in a vulnerable state and slender man took advantage of that

i feel that at the beginning i need to have more of an introduction to creepy pasta's themselves.

i think i should start off saying what a creepy pasta is and then use an example of Ticci Toby and then tell his story


i think i will say:

creepy pasta's, most people have at least heard of them but do you know what one is? i asked a friend who know's the basics of creepy pasta's and this was her response:

i agree with her response that it is a creepy story and the other people i asked agree.

the actual definition of the word creepy pasta, comes from the word copy pasta which means to copy and paste an image or a story across the internet at gets popular so people who browse the internet casually find out about them.

when most people hear the word creepy pasta they think of slender-man and Jeff the killer.

today i will be telling you the story of ticci Toby.


risk assessment


i could get hand cramps when drawing - low risk but still needs to be considered - to prevent this i would need to take breaks between drawing sessions.

also when drawing my legs get numb and i cant walk - high risk as this happens regularly - to prevent this i would need to take breaks and walk around a bit.

the recording of the speed paints could stop and cut the footage - this is a medium risk as i have gotten better with the timing of them and how long the recording can last.
